Almost two-thirds of the areas reporting the bulk of cVDPV2 cases have not implemented any type 2-containing polio vaccination campaign, underscoring the risk both to local children and to neighboring countries. Intensive efforts are ongoing to access Yemen’s northern governorates with polio vaccine..
Ukraine
Thanks to all of you who made a donation to The Rotary Foundation’s Disaster Response Fund to support Ukraine. Your funds will be used to help the over six million refugees fleeing their homes in Ukraine. A total of over $15 million was donated by Rotarians worldwide prior to April 30, 2022. Ninety Disaster Response Grants totaling $2.4 Million have already been distributed.
